Just spotted this video of some software that's in development called Photosynth based on something another Microsoft technology called Seadragon. It's basically a way to view images... but it does it so well.

While lurking around Evil Avatar as I do, I spotted a forum post about improving graphics for some old classic first person shooters:
Well worth checking out the post by Bonecrusher. I might have to dig out the System Shock 2 CD (bah.... I'm in too much of a gaming nostalga frame of mind recently!)

It's Monday morning and I was out at 07:15 walking Lisa to the train station, well walking back... Trip was very kind and gave us a lift in. I got soaked through to the skin which is never very nice but expecially when you are still waking up!
I hope this isn't the way things are going to go today as that would suck muchly!
GTR seems to be doing well, quite a few hits from Digg so please keep on coming back! Let us know what you think :)

After what seems a lifetime, I put the website formally live last night! Got quite a bit of interest from Digg, just waiting for the search engines to catch up really!
Thanks go to my gf Lisa for putting up with me and spending a LOT of time getting this sorted, especially in the past few weeks.
Still got a lot to do but at least its out there, enjoy!
