I like RPG games, and I used to like Sonic games (pre dreamcast), so I'm not sure if this one will be any good: GL: Given BioWare’s wealth of RPG experience, what have you learned not to do for this project? RM: With this project our team will be crafting an RPG that is still rich in story but which also has awesome pacing, full of those... read more

Nintendo has just announced that they will be doing a camera add-on for the DS, although I'm quite confused by the idea behind the first 'game': Otona No DS Kao Training, or Face Training, includes a camera that plugs into the Game Boy Advance slot on the Nintendo DS and videos your face as you play the game. The idea is what the Japanese call... read more

Those cheeky chaps at GameSpot have written all about their testing and feelings of Geometry Wars on the Wii and DS, doesn't quite look like they have worked out all the bugs yet! Or indeed the control method... Not to turn this preview into a list of excuses as to why our performance on the Orbiter level was less than stellar, but it also... read more

We've seen the stylus used in some naff ways in DS racing games (steering in Ridge Racer, boosting in Diddy Kong Racing... all wrong), but Codemasters' Race Driver: Create and Race is using the touch powers to let you build your own courses. Being able to slap in a few straights and corners is the least you'd expect, but this tool will let you construct... read more

Trip will cream? I'm not going near him! This week, Japan's Weekly Famitsu reviewed The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and the game garnered a near perfect score: 39 out of 40. Three of the reviewers slapped it with a 10, while the fourth settled on 9. Famitsu seemed fairly satisfied with the stylus controls. "It is so easy to pick up!... read more
This game has been out for a while on the DS (it came out in the UK 25 November 2005), but it's a classic, and it was the main reason I bought a DS. I've been getting back into it the last month due to the fantastic multiplayer the game has, so I thought a review of it would be worth while. read more
