Though there are differences between the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Rainbow Six Vegas 2 that make the 360 version slimly preferable, both unequivocally capture the same excellent experience. The lack of rumble in the PS3 controller is still a drag. Also, it takes a little longer to find a... read more

Bear in mind that if you wince at violence or get nauseous at the sight of blood, this is not the game for you. It's brutal and often disturbing, and certainly not appropriate for everyone. However, assuming you are prepared for the intensity of such a gory undertaking, you'll find that the fierceness... read more

Mistwalker should be proud that they created an ambitious traditional role-playing game at the level of Lost Odyssey. Lost Odyssey touches the gamer on many different levels with its caring storyline, explosive battles and metamorphosing plot developments. The presentation in the graphics and audio help... read more
Looks like Activision and Infinity Ward have decided to be generous and let everybody have a taste of teh COD4 beta that will be out soon: As of this morning, Infinity Ward have back-flipped, presumably in the pike position, and confirmed that the greater globe will also get a chance to give the CoD4 multiplayer experience a test run. No specific... read more

After having so much fun playing Colin McRae: DiRT I thought what the heck and went out and bought FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage, I must say I have been impressed. Before we start please be aware I had never even heard of the FlatOut series let alone played it so this review will definitely be from a non-flatout... read more
John Woo has been pretty quiet since Mission Impossible 2 came out (we'll ignore Paycheck), but it looks like he's been working on something else, the semi-sequel to one of his best films (Hard Boiled) in a computer game format, Stranglehold. In what looks like a Max Payne rip off, you have to kill everything that moves in the most stylish way possible.... read more
I'm really looking forward to Guitar Hero 3, the recently announced titles all sound fantastic, in particular I'm looking forward to rocking out as much as I can to: "3's and 7's" – Queens of the Stone Age "Cherub Rock" – Smashing Pumpkins "Even Flow" – Pearl Jam "Knights of... read more
I've been keeping my eye on this one for a while, but unfortunetally details have been far and few between. All we know is that it's to be an 'epic' fantasy game. The previous tech demo videos released were amazing in showing of what will be possible in the game, but gave no real idea of how it would play. This latest video is different, it gives us... read more
I'm eagerly waiting for this title to hit, with the announcement that the demo will soon be here and very hyped. Here's a video showing off some of the cool things you can do in the game: One thing that does worry me a lot is just at the 3 min mark, the commentator says: "you can catch grenades and throw them back at an enemy, which I haven't... read more

In a freudian slip one of Rockstar's sales rep (Hosi Simon) let slip that if you want the complete GTA4 experience, you'll have to get ir for the Xbox 360 instead of the PS3: "They're identical games. We're not hardware makers, and we're not like a pawn between these companies, we try not to be as much as we can. We make great games for people... read more
Now I'm pretty sick of WW2 first person shooters, as far as I was concerned COD2 was boring, since I had been there and done it before, numerous times before. So when I came to this in the latest Brothers in Arms series I wasn't expecting much... I was given nice surprise. I was amazed by the way the NPCs were reacting, and the effects when you... read more
After the rather mediocre sequel to Burnout 3, Burnout Revenge, we weren't expecting much from the next title in the series. But after reading some reports, and watching some videos this game seem to be a true next gen sequel to the series. With an open ended city to drive around, and seamless multiplayer action this title could be one the best racers... read more
When it comes to Lucas Arts I'm a bit of a fan boy. Basically I was addicted to the point and click games (Monkey Island, Full Throttle, The Dig, etc...) they created, so naturally I'm always interested in what they are doing. With recent rumblings that they'll be doing more in house stuff (like Force Unleashed) the new game they are working on Fracture... read more

Lots of info here, quite looking forward to this actually, seems a semi-relaxing way to explore the universe from our new VERY comfortable sofas. It begins before you even start the game. The August 2007 issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly has an extensive preview of Halo 3. In the article, Bungie's Frank O'Connor revealed that they are having some trouble implementing the two-player co-op mode over Xbox Live. CVG have reviewed Bomberman Live which was released yesterday on XBLA, here is a snippet: Offline the occasional AI glitch, with opponents mindlessly walking into walls, isn't uncommon, but seeming as Bomberman is predominantly an online game we don't think it's a massive problem. The big draw of this version, besides being able to play the devilishly... read more
